The film cap is comically large isn't it. I thought about hiding it under the top plate instead of the choke but putting it up there made the wires the shortest and why not make it the star. Celebrate it's absurdity. Plus it measured and sounded the best out of every cap combo I tried.
No absurdity there. E-Concepts caps are IT ! 'Looks good the way it is. I doubt that coloured LEDs in each of the circular 'windows' could make it look any better. : )
Some small progress on the chassis. Hopefully the pic shows where I am going with the cage. The drilled out panel will attach between the ribs that curve over the top. Side panels are cut out and anealed so I can bend over the sides using a hammer form. I will drill those out as well. Hoping to get this finished up for the new year.

Great solution and unique design. Nice! I like the power button switch in center. Looking forward to seeing the final product.
It is done. Plan is to hook it up for a while in my office to give the UNSET a final shake down then bring it into the main system. Listening to it now and it is sounding great.
