So... Stage one. I had some Markaudio CHR-70's lying around for a build, but then I heard some OB speakers. I promptly turned the build around and switched to OB, after reading here that the MA's could be paired well to the Eminence Alpha 15a. I picked up a pair of Alpha's, routed some holes (loosely following Martin King's papers) and installed the lot on a base. So far, so good.

Anyway, now it's time to find a good solution to drive the things. I don't really want to go passive (big $$$ for components, limited flexibility), nor want to have to connect two amps and a crossover... So the hunt is on for a good amp with a build-in filter.
 
And talk about commercial dipoles, how about these fanatical duo turning them into successful business. Made by CNC from aluminium block!
