We can't. Most of us don't provide information projects components like distortion graps and that really important thing possible motor noise.
So it's buy and try

Has anyone had a chance to listen to these? Controlled 80 degrees horizontal and vertical directivity throughout the fq range.

This is the ultimate open baffle gallery. It should include everything 😀
So... Stage one. I had some Markaudio CHR-70's lying around for a build, but then I heard some OB speakers. I promptly turned the build around and switched to OB, after reading here that the MA's could be paired well to the Eminence Alpha 15a. I picked up a pair of Alpha's, routed some holes (loosely following Martin King's papers) and installed the lot on a base. So far, so good.

Anyway, now it's time to find a good solution to drive the things. I don't really want to go passive (big $$$ for components, limited flexibility), nor want to have to connect two amps and a crossover... So the hunt is on for a good amp with a build-in filter.

There's quite a lot of commercial stuff in this thread. I don't see anything wrong with it as it can be used as inspiration for DIY builds.why commercial stuff here? avoid spam please ,only eminence beta12cx no more !!
And talk about commercial dipoles, how about these fanatical duo turning them into successful business. Made by CNC from aluminium block!
Oozing quality! And the drivers are off the shelf like ScanSpeak and Acoustic Elegance.
Read the whole experience of buying them dipoles! You need spare $70k I think 🙂

Excellent question! I think it would be in everyone's best interest to end this part of the thread.
I don't like quiz games.yep but why post review link ? is OT here
It is just polite to give the name of the speaker or manufacturer and a link. Some thoughts of the poster are interesting too and I don't mind even some brief discussions, even though this is supposed to be a gallery thread.
