Got my first beast up and cooking. It dissipates around 290 Watts at 54°C heatsink and 23°C surrounding temperature.

This is a BA-3B Monoblock and yes it is 145 Watts per half. I had the PCBs for this one preassambled. I still have to adjust for distortion and of course give it a listen. With all the masculinity I packed in that case, it got a little crowded at the rear plate 😀

Good work so far, you have been very busy. That toroidal looks massive sitting in there, must be 1kva at least. Also notice you are using a CLC supply with the two iron cored chokes.

Have you had a listen to it yet?

Blk Dynamite - I am the opposite, have all the parts ready and boards loaded to do a Stasis build on my 1st enclosure.

Thank you - thanks to lockdown I got the time.

- Transformer is even 2kVA (the price difference to 1kVA was negligable)
- Yes with the store supply it is CLCRC Filtering: 0.5 mV ripple. In the meantime I shielded the chokes.
- No listening yet but it starts clipping at 100 Watts into 6 Ohm in balanced mode
- Will measure and adjust distortion before listening
