I have had good results with Canare interconnect cables. It's just that I've become accustomed to the sound of my speaker & cable combination with various amps that I've already built.
Yeah no problem
My vote is also with conventional RCA connectors and speaker binding post's - like what is supplied with the kits in the store.
Let's do it so we sleep well at night knowing, we really considered all options and are very happy.
Not sure exactly which one but whichever is cheapest.
FT-809(R)/(G) | FURUTECH
FT-807(R) & FT-807(G) | FURUTECH
FT-867 R | FURUTECH
There are others too. So check out the other Furutech binding posts too.

Some are crazy expensive, some are reasonable.
Let me find the cheaper Furutech ones.
Also there is a chance the drill dimensions is common to many other brands.
This is why I normally just buy Neutrik.

807 looks like $100 a pair.
Probably more than I might like to spend.
At the end of the day, we only need to agree on a hole size for the panel.
Otherwise we get a pierced pilot hole. Then you dill it out to the correct size.

It's funny how much people are willing to spend on trying to approach perfection, when perfection is a simple cable gland at a fraction of the price.
Not really an option for manufacturers but probably completely fine for diy where you know what your cable length requirements are.

Just throwing out some details of Neutrik connectors.
I tend to like Neutrik, cause it is excellent quality at a reasonable price.
Please share if you have other preferences.

If we can agree on some items then it will make mounting them on the back panel easy.
These are the binding posts I use

Since that Cardas XLR is the exact same cutout as Neutrik XLR and that is the what is used stock from the diyaudio store, let's definitely go with that hole pattern.
