PCB

Are there any PCBs for this amp? It looks great. I wasn't sure if there was ever a group buy, or if anyone has extra PCBs.

Hi Nycone, there was a group buy on the french forum where this amp was first published. The guys were really helpful in helping me get a set of pcbs despite not knowing any french and being able to navigate the forum. If your patient there may be another group buy on offer in the near future.

I just been working on this amp again and realsied that I got a mixture of 10 X 2sc2911S and 6 X 2sc2911R. The R are lower hfe. I was wondering if I should get more of the S grade or will it not matter for this amp?

Sorry wrong ...
9W is class A power max at 8R with stock 0,250mA bias per Mosfet
(means leaving class A at twice this value = 0,5 A)
@ 4R you get about 4,5W class A max

If you go to the extreme and choose 0,4 A per Mosfet - leaving class A at 0,8A/Mos you'll get :
about 11,5 W @ 4R
about 23W @ 8R

1. Can it be done with 2 pairs of output mosfets per side not like original 3.
2. can the output stage be on 30V like Input
3. and what is the gain of amp.
