OK. Thanks for the clarification and LS part #s. I've been going over the BoM this afternoon. What tranny will use use for the 5V relays? Is that the right voltage or is it 9v or 12v?
It is a big project, but should be fun to complete, hopefully with few headaches. 🙂

Most use 24v that I am aware of. Check BOM 🙂
I will use Hammond 229 series, their 48VA, 28V (229D56).

Hi,
For the digital section you will need a 2x8V or a 2x9V AC (2x9VA) tranny.
2 x 24 V is for the analoge section.

I believe the 229B56 12VA 28V should be enough....Most use 24v that I am aware of. Check BOM 🙂

The VA size can always be debated but it was recommended by a good friend of mine and he is using a similar size in his preamp.. so, why not 🙂

Hi,
That Hammond will need it's own pcb, since it meant for pcb mount. But sure, you are aware of that 😉 ? Much easier to use a toroidal or C-core meant for chassies mounting.

I am aware of the construction. Is or was considering an enclosure and potting it (which would allow for a conventional mounting) 🙂 .. well see what happens I guess. First need my boards and it feels like they are stuck in limbo, no shipping update since the 28/7 ..
I just finish and tested this new board with a 2X20V , 12Va 229B40 Hammond, will use it for the new UGC muse preamp with 2X28V, 12Va 229B56 Hammond.Hi,

yes i did and i am not sure if i will use it, i prefer this combo with transformer and also i can connect to it other boards
Understood. Options are good to have and which ever solution is best according to you, is the one you should use. I currently don't have other options/choices than what is in the kit. Should be fine.. we can hope.
To be honest I never checked if PCB's are available. Might design and produce in house if PCB's aren't available or do the shielding and potting... so many choices 🙂
What you working on this time ?

Have the "Danish" class AB secured, considering a very special class A and the there is the phono stage, besides the preamp ... that's where I am atm
