a little trick
in addition to my BATTERY driven microphone amplifier
before you throw away 9 Volt cell
you can cut away and save the top part of battery
where + and - terminals are
will make perfect connector
if you build something using 9 Volt batteries power supply
picture here shows one
18 VDC power supply of mine ( +- 9 Volt DC, mains hum / ripple free )

Nice avatar Lineup..... i could see a baby...just lines that could seem to be
But gave me the idea of a nice family...daddy and his son.
Very pretty...pitty that was only lines in your avatar.
Only points and shadows in the charcoal draw background...of course i fill the gaps with my imagination.
regards.

and looking at them small circuit board details
many times use magnifying glass and very strong lamp light
for back engineering my own forgotten old circuits

Today's version for Tina of her old song:
What`s age got to do, got to do with it
What`s age but a sweet old fashioned notion
What`s age got to do, got to do with it
Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken

Friends. Back on Topic, please!
( for other topics you can start your own new thread in some suitable forum
this goes evenso for those impulsive hot-blooded south-americans, too
this is more of an english forum for gentle women and gentle men )
This is about UGLY but good things
you use at home for audio constructions
I have got plenty of more to show you, now that I've finally got myself a Nikon Camera.
This one refers to my little 4 transistors microphone amplifier.
See: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=1008980#post1008980
Background:
When you live in remote little town in country,
you cant just find a shop for special stuff, like electronics components.
And if you find it, it is not of the quality you had in mind.
Device:
Input for 6.3 mm teleplug, microphone mono type.
Material:
- 4 small screws
- Plastic from cheap chopping-board. Those you use for cutting up food in the kitchen.
This plastic is of PE type. Actially I think it is not bad for audio.
- 2 small pieces of thin BRASS. Like 0.25 mm thickness.
Result:
Works! Very short wire direct solder between input brass to input caps.

By your country standard you may be a calm man.destroyer X said:
Re: Hot blood impulsive is nice.
I was thinking i was calm.
Now in our side, the cold part of this planet, we are generally nice and quiet. Please dont disturb order!
Have you ever heard The Carneval of London

Or any other European city for that matter.
🙂
Background:
Power Amplifier,
with separate discrete regulated power supply for input + VAS stage.
Other one big trafo only drives 2 push-pull output transistors.
Notice 4 rectifier diodes hardwired directly at electrolytic capacitors.
Power Source Section of my little amplifier.
Amp is 100% lineup idea and construction from scratch, figured out with paper and pencil.
Ugly, but good working .... for sure.
Enjoy .. and maybe learn some new ideas for your own projects.

.
This is the image #2 of same system.
Power Section is followed by regulator
to give a constant and precise dual voltage
to the important input & voltage amplification stages, VAS
I have added some labels for different functions
and shouldnt be much explaining to do.
I think you'll get it.
