I meant communicating between vehicles or between a vehicle and its base station. I would guess the aliens just talk to each other when they are on the vehicle together. Unless they are fighting with each other, of course.

I am joking of course. A little levity can’t hurt.
I know that I don’t know. That’s better than knowing without actually knowing. At a base monkey brain level, I feel like there are aliens out there. I know there is no irrefutable proof to back this feeling, so when asked if there are aliens I say maybe. Saying no is just as dumb as saying yes when you don’t know. Saying no and citing what our science or physics deems possible today is extra dumb.

And like that orb I saw back in 1968, I can't identify what it is, neither can anyone.

These types of arguments strain the limits of credibility to the point of credulity, like the ‘dark forest hypothesis’ or ‘they came to teach us’ etc.

This is likely the exhaust plume of another aircfraft which has emerged from the clouds. The observer aircraft is flying around the back of it since the ‘UFO’ is flying away at right angles. It looks solid because the plume is dense and being seen wedge on.
Ditto the flashing triangular UFO - that looks like hazard light on an aircraft. Why would vastly superior aliens flash their stuff at humans like this?
When my son’s drone goes up at night, you wouldn’t know what it was - no visual cues on its size, it’s for the most part silent etc.
Evenharmonics is saying that not being able to detect alien transmissions if they exist could be because of timing, and because of the signals not being of a type that we can detect. These are both possibilities. So much so that doing what SETI is doing seems pointless. If there are alien civilizations, are they going to develop radio? Maybe. Even if they develop radio and then become space faring, radio would become pretty useless as a way of communicating between vehicles that travel faster than light. If an alien civilization is space faring and is visiting us, they are using FTL technology. This technology could very well open up new ways of communicating that we are unaware of and unable to detect. The Fermi Paradox is based on a lack of observational evidence of aliens existing. If I get a group of 20 people to search my closet for aliens for 24 hours a day, every day for 60 years, and they don’t find any, should I also conclude that aliens don’t exist? Saying that alien civilizations don’t exist because SETI hasn’t found any by listening for the very 20th century technology of radio is what strains credibility to the point of credulity. I believe that is his point.
You must have not reviewed any of the cases. These are not just missing person cases. Many are found, rarely alive with certain similar details, time and cause of death. Many found in unreachable locations(unless they were dropped by a flying craft or popped through s portal)that the victims could not have brought themselves to. Sometimes barefoot or with clean socks, no shoes. They disappear instantly. A few people hiking, one ducks in a bush to tske a leak....gone. Sometimes they can hear the person calling. And bad weather usually interrupts the search...just weird, illogical details. The reason I threw Bigfoot out there is David Paulides who investigates these cases got an interest in BF and wrote a book on the subject and has found DNA/hair that does not match any known samples. What's also really weird is the US park service response to his info requests. This guy was a 20 year law enforcement officer, not a crackpot. He never speculates, just presents the facts. unsettling as they are. Skinwalker ranch is another busy location of the unexplained.. check them out. Common thread is Government intertest, involvement and hush hush.

I agree, there should be bones, fossils, something. Maybe they are really good about recovering their dead so they get a proper burial where ever it is they hide out. I am kidding, but I do know a few people that had a similar experience where they were not welcome in wilderness locations and boulders, not rocks, were thrown at them. Something large had to do it, giants?
Just 2 days ago, me and another resident here saw a UFO. No aliens... Just a bright orb with no flashing lights moving fairly fast across the sky. It was the biggest, brightest thing in the sky and after we verbally took notice, about 10 seconds later, it reduced size to a small blue pin prick and then vanished. No sound the whole time.
As soon as I can find them, I will post a couple of unusual photo's my girlfriend took here in Pacifica while riding one of our horses. One shows a bright green orb in the woods. Everyone she shows says it was a dust mote in the camera. But she saw it. The other shows 2 huge smoke rings in the sky, side by side,above the ocean. When I say huge, a couple miles wide. Not normal.

@tizman so they’re using some method of FTL communication (photon entanglement?) and they come from another stellar system at FTL, and still see fit to hover over our cities and flash their lights?
