Hello,
Any body can help my problem on my irs 900D,
offset flicker from 1mV to 500mV periodic on idle,
this problem caused over bias before, and IC IR2110 sort (get over heat),
i'm already change that IC but offset not stable,
please get me some clue for solved my problem,
thanks,
BR//

Hello,
Any body can help my problem
UCD Style IR2110 based Detex and Manojtm design
1. the amplifier heatsink will get hotter and hotter even when it's standby
with Rail +/- 130 V
using Mosfet IXYS - IXFH 44n50P
look picture
2. When running with Rail +/- 85 V amplifier no have problem
even with full output power
using Mosfet IXYS - IXFH 44n50P
Is it possibile,..Im using wrong mosfet ?
Any idea to fix problem ?

From a single 1-phase system? I only get 3.6kW of my 230V outlet.

Hi sandra,
Max. rail I used +/-90V DC on IRFP250 without any changes in AUD600 design.
Tested with rail +/-125v on 300V MOSFET with change DT and Filter and FB resistor.

ultra fast antiparallel diode mosfet
Maybe you should select faster mosfet or use ultra fast antiparallel diode mosfet module, like IXKF40N60SCD1. of curse better way is using seperated circuit to realize autiparallel diode mosfet (like xls1000 circuit) or using RC absorber circuit.

Hi sandra,
I think 2SC4382 Transistor used for Bias supply is heating, did you check?

But IXKF40N60SCD1 has a Qg von 250, not good solution for Class D Audio

we have rich experiences to drive IXFN80N50 in class D amplifier, this module have 380nc Qg.

380nc Qg .....I think this is to much
good is about 70 - 100 nc Qg
What do you think ?
Hello, Please what should be the values of resistors OSC and RFB with amplifiers IRS3000D? As you eat satisfied? Is there a PDF file PCB layout? Thank LFA.
Feeling bored on a sunday made this class d amp TL494 /IRFP250
single supply 110 volts dc😉
HI, I could disponibilizer the scheme of this amplifier?
Thank you.

Possible reasons:
- Bias supply loss
- Cross conduction
- Power loss during slow turn off
- Bad oscillation freq or irregular switching
- Saturating coil
To easily investigate the problem:
- first you should measure PSU idle currents (both rails, without load). If -Ivdd is much higher than +Ivdd, then bias supply is the main problem.
- You can try setting higher dead time. If it helps (significantly decrease idle current), then cross conduction is the problem. If not, then
- check temperature of output coil! If getting hot, it may be saturated (not surely). To make it sure, check output signal! It must be almost sinusoidal (aside from switching noise close to zero crossings.)
- send pictures of waveforms here...
What kind of core do you use in output coil? (Material, air gap...?) Is it getting hot?

what load did you test with the irfp250 at that voltage and the switching frequency , also how long did the amp play .
Irfp260 is better than irfp250.... 260 have low Qg and support more current.... why you don't use that?

IRFP260
QG = 230nC
IRFP250
QG = 140nC
230<140 ??????
