Back in the day I tried to DIY the AudioTronics CM3. The standard CM3 had two 8” woofers and a ribbon horn. I used the 8ohm KEF B200 and the Gamma VLD12 ribbon horns, and a first order passive filter. The B200s I did connect in parallel.Thanks for sharing! That certainly seems like a nice design, which should work quite well with bass guitar. I believe that the fundamental frequencies of a 6-string bass guitar cover the frequency range from 31Hz–523Hz, while the harmonics can extend all the way out to approximately 4kHz–5kHz.
I wonder how those 3x B200 woofers were connected? Were they 16-ohm units?

I made my enclosure according to figure 6 in the Bailey article.
Later I purchased Quad ESLs and never looked back…
Until now, as I found some spare enclosure parts etc…..
