My amp drops out sometimes too, being fed with one of your dacs. The red led doesn't come one, and it seems as if its kinda "static charge".... If I unplug, and plug in the RCA it comes back every time. Sometimes even just wiggling the rca fixes it. I have tried many different RCA cables, but haven't narrowed down the issue enough to say anything about it until reading @jimk04 post.
