Thanks multisync.
Those measurements are much the same as I get when I measured the output of one of my TPA3116 amps definitely not what I was getting on the TPA3255.
Interesting your TPA3255 running 53.5v is measuring and working fine. I assume its a different board to mine (3e-audio) so maybe that accounts for why yours is working with that voltage and not mine. Tho it is possible the fault in mine may not have been a result of my using the 53.5v supply, for now I will assume it was but I guess I will never know.
Maybe I need to acquire a scope at some stage, I did have one that came as a kitset using a PC serial interface but that was hell to use and I dumped it years ago.

You must have had bad luck
I have this:

ChrissMmm, another thing you can try, there is a regulator that steps down the +48 volts or whatever to 15 or 12 VDC. If it steps down to +15 then there is another that steps down to 12Vdc for the analog sections of the TPA3255. There is also a 3.3 volt regulator for the leds and some other stuff. In some of the early TPA3255 boards the Hi voltage regulator was a LM2575 not a LM2575HV. The LM2575 was only good for 40 volts.
Pin 8 of the opamps will tell you if the 12Vdc is ok
Pin 8 of the opamps will tell you if the 12Vdc is ok

Thanks will check that out. There is also a 12v out socket which I can check.
Edit: Just did a visual check of the board (pulled from its chassis at the moment), it seems the 12v is supplied by a DPAK 7812A, I see no LM7525. Cant see what make it is so can't check the specs for max input voltage.

There is a chip close to the 7812 marked D02X which seems to be a stepdown regulator input range 4-60v. Is this the equivalent of the LM2575?
Anyone manage to look into the IcePower 200AS2 TPA3255 board with built-in power supply?
I noticed that it is used in the new PS Audio Stellar Strata Integrated Amplifier ($2999)

DO2X Google says it's a fan. Any other numbers?
Try Googling "D02X regulator". Tracing the circuit (using continuity) looks like this feeds the 7812 which in turn feeds pin8 of the opamps.
Hi amigos,
Seems that the Topping PA5 is now the best TPA325X amp )
Got the first pictures, the amp is using a TPA 325X chip with high quality inductors and some secret OP amps.
Measurements still here :

Expensive ? Checkout the measurements.... This amp is neck to neck vs a Purifi ...
It measures better than any high end TPA325X modules (Jlester, DrMordor, XRK Audio) and if you consider the price of these modules and you add the case, wire, banana plugs, PSU...you will see it is a fair price.

Can only use balanced inputs though?

The amp is fully balanced via TRS inputs... I would prefer XLR but this is the Topping choice for unknown reasons )

This is what the user manual shows..

Exactly... shows 4x TRS balanced inputs, and if you want to use RCA plugs, you need an adapter RCA > TRS ) simply
and the same for the XLR > TRS )
