What voltage secondaries? I am asking since I was going to use a 300va transformer with 2 x 18Va secondary in parallel, since I already have the transformer. I have a similar PS board also.

You'll get about 25V DC - is that enough to power the TPA 3255 board?
The biggest improvement to SQ for me has been a balanced DAC replacing a SE. I would not use batteries over a LLC even if there might be an incredibly small audible improvement. My 400w 48vdc smps is tiny!

Its not my intention to replace the LLC... my point was that a better PSU should be audible if amp board is designed to be very low noise .

My latest soundcard measurements. Note that the THD+N limit of my QA400 + Interface is 0.002% (the interface's power supply has no low noise LDO, it's only relying on the PSRR of opamps),
I'm also using a low noise supply for TPA3255, so the THD might be the more accurate indicator. Gain is 11.9x, supply rail 38V.,
5W, 8 ohms = 0.00046%
5W, 4 ohms = 0.0008%

I have the JLE board on the way to 'replace ' my 3e.
I use a 35v 500va toroid with 14 x2200uf each with 0.1 bypass.
I prefer the simplicity and reliability over SMPS. I did try a MW but could hear its PWM.
Mouser is out of the 10uh Coilcraft . Should I go for the 6.8uH.

I would love a head to head SQ vs any ganfet, purifi. The only one that scares me its benchmark ahb2. That's a different beast.
A few days ago we found a novel way to reduce harmonics. Inductors are fully charged and store energy while dead time gives no fast outlet for shunting the energy. I made a small circuit to help the shunting of emf... But I am not here to talk about thd. It made a difference in sq to our engineering team that's not prone to comment on sq
This novel way its not on any white papers or books. Our invention and I will make it public after some time as a way to pay back this community.
Remember my words, you mostly hear your psu and inductors...
