Another thing to watch for is that the body of the pot is connected to gnd. If you attach it to your enclosure and your enclosure is connected to earth, you might create a groundloop.
Did the hum go away after isolating the pot bushing from the chassis?
If so, then moez could use shoulder washers on both sides of the pot to accomplish this.
I will give that a try tomorrow ,a couple of plastic washer should work.
You have to keep the threaded barrel of the pot bushing from touching the sides of the mounting hole.
This is difficult without using a shoulder washer.

Haven,t got around to doing yet ,maybe some electrical tape around that area where it goes thru the face plate temperately. Also if anyone could tell me what the two unused pins labeled [bn9] are for .they seemed to be in the same area that r21 and c10 but there no mention of them in the instructions .
It might be worth a try, with a temporary solution.
The bn9 is for loudness control. I attach the schematic for the mv04. I don't know where I found it to be honnest.
Honnestly, I'm not too happy with these. The source selection with the rotary encoder is a real pain and the grounding is horrible. I wish I had the skill to program a controller to redo the whole thing properly.
