I am currently evaluating the cabinet and sure, it still has a weak spot making some sound not wanted. When I am ready I will use another bracing and I am closing in its position listening to piano recordings.
Sorry for the late answer! No I do not have a stethoscope, but it is rather easy to hear anyway. I have had some problem getting the wood for the bracing, I will get it this week I hope. Too bad I made my original lower bracing placed in the "wrong" position, so I do not know how much this has caused my trouble. By the way Salas, the RCL-link used in the crossover, can it be removed if you use a solid state amplifier?
Ok thanks. I ask because I read at a forum some time ago remembering they said it was mostly helpful if you had a tube amp to cope with a impedance peak. I have started a new project and since I have to learn more about crossover I remembered this and wanted to ask you.
Not great damping factor amps do benefit the most, but its still an aid with capable solid state amps too in my experience. Just not too much.
FInally got some 33mm pine round rod, time for the last bracing. This one will be placed inbetween the lowest one and the extra bracing I put in earlier. I use 33mm this time since 27mm used last time was not enough.
Good use for it over in Greece, right Salas? Heard it was quite hot, wish we had a little of it here, only 20-25 degrees Celcius

Athens has seaside all around from its south to its west. Me I am in the city center near Acropolis.
Man, I'm a Canadian kid, any more than about 27c and I start to look for air conditioning, lol.
