The WIBAQ: TABAQ Design with Betsy K

Thanks for the cutting dimensions. When I get home I will go onto sketchup and verify the dimensions. I'm away from home now. I also have a wood shop at my disposal (with a cnc machine) incase Home Depot/lowes gives me trouble. I also know people at home depot, so I could always make sure they are there when I go.

His dimensions were all internal dimensions since the plywood size is nominal. I will be using 3/4". Here are the dimensions for each piece that I came up with. Do they match up with your cuts glt?

Front: 11" x 43 3/8"
Back: 11" x 46 1/2"
Side: 17 3/4" x 46 1/2"
Top: 11" x 16 1/4"
Bottom: 11" x 17"
Baffle: 11" x 3 1/4"

Front is 44 1/8 as drawn because it is flush with the sides? (don't know why I wrote 15 3/8 🙂)

The side panels (x2) are each 17 3/4" by 46 1/2". The front is 11" by 44 1/8". The back is 11" by 46 1/2". The top is 11" by 16 1/4". The bottom is 11" by 17". The port piece is 11" by 3 1/4". So Ron, your dimensions were correct minus the front baffle.

On the PDF of the design the stuffing is listed. About 1.8 pounds in the upper two thirds of each enclosure.
As for the lvc, that I don't know.

I was referring to the TABAQ TL enclosure to get the 1 lb stuffing numbers.

The damping is high (1 lb per ft3) and is placed in the upper part of the pipe. The last third of the pipe is not stuffed. The stuffing will attenuate the output from the opening, so I solved this by increasing the volume of the cabinet.

Wrong source, sorry.

I was thinking of forgoing the zobel, since I can't really calculate the design without knowing the Lvc. I was planning on possibly including a baffle step correction circuit if needed, though with the front-firing ported design of the WIBAQ I'm hoping that will enforce the bass enough the baffle step correction won't be needed.
