Frost tomorrow morning here. I might want to close all the windows and even check the furnace!
Same old here. 86F/30C And humid, of course.

We were about 15 miles due west of you on Captiva Island for the 18 inches of rain that Sally brought. It was 79 degrees F when we left at 4 AM yesterday. Got home to West Virginia late last night and were quite surprised to find the car windows frosted over this morning.
Looks like we are in for a ugly night on into Wednesday morning when Teddy makes landfall.
Not a very appropriate name for a hurricane.

Really? I think it sounds ominous, if it makes a grown man long for plushy bear creatures it must be pretty bad.
Teddy's are bears and bears can do a lot of damage. Quite a large one isn't it?when Teddy makes landfall.
Not a very appropriate name for a hurricane.

23 degrees and sunny, perfect weather for the beach yesterday, not a drup of rain in weeks. In the Netherlands! Climate is kaput.

Bah dum!
Going down to near freezing tonight.
We are 15" (38cm) ahead of our annual rainfall as of today and have three months to go, although Oct normally has only 4" of rain and Nov is less as is Dec.
I have read that we are becoming a "Tropical" area.

24º and shirts off today. The girls are running. Unfortunately, they are running away rather than toward. They just don't know what they're missin'. Okay, so I'm not a pretty boy anymore but in the old days, they were happy with hamburgers, lemon gin and a bottle of grape juice. Now that I can afford the real deal, they are no longer interested.
Is that why we got married? Someone help me out here. 😉

Gimp, if Johnson City isn’t in it, it’s very close to what is considered ‘temperate rainforest’
Appalachian temperate rainforest - Wikipedia
I’ve never seen so many shades of green anywhere else before as in that area during Spring/Summer

Dry as a bone here in the NE. WAY below normal rainfall and we're in a severe drought. No small patio fires here, even in a container. But...we had a good soaking rain this morning and expect a few more coming up. It's warm too. 60s and 70s for the last few weeks. Pretty warm for here.
DownEast Maine we are a good 6" short for the year, all in the last few months. I have not cut the "lawn" in weeks and that was just to top-off the baby-sprout trees. Even crabgrass and dandelion is dormant. As Carlp says, fire is a real danger.
So we go from the 20's a couple weeks back to 3º at noon today here in the 'warm' part of the country, while the 'cold' part of the country is basking in the 20's again.
