2010 Snow in Kelso, Scottish Borders: thaw underway, but still we had to have new gutters twice in 3 years!

Had perhaps 0.5 inch so far this year! [Obviously - we want no more!] But we did have serious flooding instead.

We got a similar warning last night. It expired today at 2PM, but it is still cold and windy.

This morning the thermometer read 4F (-15C) there was a fairly strong wind resulting in a reported -10F (-24C) wind chill. By noon it was up to 10F (-12C) but the wind was much worse, so I decided that the rest of the day would be spent down in the basement with a hot soldering iron.

Similar weather is expected for the next two days, followed by snow on Thursday and Friday......

OH, wait....I just got another warning on my computer....
