Hmmm... if he/she is a major contributor to the design, I agree.
If he/she just grabs ideas from here and there and doesn't contribute I don't find it morally right. But then again, when it comes to business, "morally right" is never included in the lexicon.

It haven't had before, but for some time it does.
I don't see it.
You must make sure everybody can see it(so no fancy html) and it's on every page.
If someone is able to prove they couln't have seen your copyright note(by using some sort of strange standard browser) you lose. So, no image, no fancy html, no frames, no iframes. Just pure text, not very small font size and on every page 😉

I have nothing against you at all, don't get me wrong, I just try to help you. But for you it is already to late, the archive.org/google surely has a cached copy of your website. You may try to contact them for the removal of your site, but I don't think they will do it.

Unless it has a Copyright notice on each page.

All the copyright covers is the content of the webpage which would include any graphics.

Again i say... digi has his own PCB design, his own variation of the circuit staight out of the ap notes, he provided the circuit layout for everyone to download, and he thanked everyone that had input into his board design.

Let's see...
Pedja had the idea of using a high-current positive regulator (LM338) for both rails, because there is no negative linear reg useful for this application.
I don't think there's an App Note with this.
He reported good results with the GC, as I did too (and others), later.
Otherwise, probably nobody would be doing this, and specially, selling this.
Everybody was very happy with low capacitance unregulated PSU.:dead:

Respect.

i fear the moderators are biased against that idea, as i suspect to many of them to be involved directly or trough others into that business...

I'm not as mistrustful as you.

I simply see it as an opportunity to dispel the notion that anyone is making a significant amount of money on these group buys.

By the time you factor in support for bumblers who don't know what they're doing*, I bet most of the organisers are losing money.

(*like me - I ruined a couple of mounting brackets in PD's group buy chassis while trying to drill them and he's been very kind and responsive in helping me sort out the problem. I would be more descriptive of how he's helped, but I wouldn't want to cause PD grief by having everyone else expecting him to bend over backwards as he's done for me.)

For me it's a pleasure to make business (buy) with Mr. Guido Tent, and he doesn't need to sell in this forum.
His attitude and relationship with his clients (also many members here) is exemplary, IMHO.

I don´t focus on that IP issue - i think IP is a concept that will fail. Also i have no problem in people earning some money by doing work and sell something.

I dislike this board is ruined because its all about marketing your product and commerce now. As written before, a seller will not comment positive about others, and will try to bash otherones ideas no matter if they are good or bad. He will not help his potential competitor to do a good design. He will propagate untruth like "SMD is more professional and does sound better" only because he offers a SMD version of something 5 of his competitors sell, and he needs something to distinguish his product - make it "premium". If all those sellers would behave professional and use this board for what it was intended for before, use only the commercial section for their business - everything would be ok.

Hey, my expensive Butcher PSU uses two LM338K for both rails see pic for the reg boards, check Geoff Moss's excellent site....

Soon I may come out with a CLC PSU group buy.. you wait!!
