I hate big brother. Over here they are slowly dissecting our constitution, saying it is irrelevant to modern times. Clearly the dumbasses have forgotten history. Sure guns may be excessive, that is until the govt is not your friend anymore. 3 states just passed "strict" gun laws due to school shooting. Unfortunately non of those laws would have had any effect or stopped the shooting. But politicians always say that you dont waste a good crisis. Ookin puppet masters.

That is not strange since the country was once built by governmental opressed refugees, many of them from europe. It was natural to constitute on the rights of defending yourself against that.
Now the situation has changed over years, and the population emerging from for example South America does not share the view that defending oneself from government is a cruical thing. On the contrary they are victims of lack of government. That, I think is why it is now possible to discuss those matters. They are voters to.
It is a problem. The amount of gunkills is nearly exactly analog to the percentage of weapons circulating over the world. So to me it sounds like a subject that at least should be discussed.
