Sweden concluded that long ago, in the 16th century. If your gonna have those big armys you cant keep them at home. They have to be somewhere sieging and sacking. Thats why Karl 11 and 12, our noble warriorkings spent their time across northen europe all the time with their armys.

Its no different than stupid playground pissin contest. You always had some one trying to prove something or show everyone who they are. Eventually ended up in a fight where evryone generally loses. Moet of the time war is stupid and is for the wrong reason. Freakin tragedy. But there have been a great many that where fought because they had to be.
