That has only a 5A rating compared to Shurter's being 10A. So they aren't quite the same.
I don't believe the cheap Amazon one listed above will fit the Pearl 3 Modushop chassis, which uses a type A style Schurter layout. The Pearl 3 Modushop chassis has a slot cut out specifically for the Schurter DD11, DD12, and DD14 PEM's. I agree that the Pearl 3 shouldn't be drawing more than 1 amp though (I'm often wrong, so please correct me if I am).
A good choice in my mind after poking around the datasheets is the 1 amp, dual filter, dual fused DD14, part number 3-103-776 (formerly called part number DD14-12121-12111-1100). I'm picking up two of them, although I'm going to use an 8A DD12 Schurter near term as I won't be making the Mouser order for a week or so.
I grabbed a pair of the cheap Amazon ones simply to play around with for no project in particular.

^ Good stuff. Apologies... I don't know what hole T4B is trying to fill.
Just speaking in terms of ratings (5A) for the project at hand (Pearl 3) in response to WBS's comment re: amperage rating being lower than the Schurter modules that come in the back panel kit.
Carry on... ignore me / nothing to see here.... / Dodo passing through

it could, if you pour electrically conductive concrete in

@ItsAllInMyHead , I think you're comment is spot on. If @Toys4Boys was intending to use it for Pearl 3, 5A is probably plenty, but I don't think it will fit the slot and I know it won't line up with the bolt holes. I'm assuming the person who suggested using it was cutting out their own slot and not using the Modushop chassis. Since both Toys4Boys and myself are using the Modushop chassis, I was just clarifying that the right choice is a Schurter DD11/DD12/DD14, and that if you don't mind spending a little extra, the DD14 1Amp, dual fuse, is probably the ideal choice. I look forward to be corrected though. I'm a bigger dodo than most 🙂
Ok, back to the regularly schedule programming. I got pulled in here as someone mentioned me, I took a peak, and remembered that exact post Toys4Boys mentioned cause I tossed a set in my cart. I couldn't help but hunt around and find it, and just earlier today I was working on figuring out what was the right PEM to get for my Pearl 3 (well it's for me ma).

Had no context from T4B whether he bought the chassis / needed the PEMs for that. Awesome stuff! I do happen to know that somebody's Ma is going to be a happy camper though.
Well, we're killing the vibe in the lounge having almost a 'real' topic of conversation but, I'll close with the thought ... If asked for a preference... and if all things remained equal... I'd chose a single fused solution for myself.
Now... back off topic.

Seems most of the people that started up this forum, are gone by now?
I live in Hessen, Germany between Frankfurt and Giessen.
I would like to listen to a Nelson Pass amplifier.
Would anyone owning and using a Nelson Pass amplifier let me hear to it?
PN me please.

Some are in Upper Pastures, some did grow up
I'm still none of those

So I had a moment of reflection. Tomorrow is Swedens National Day. Its a stretch to say it is a tradition, because we havent had it for very long and noone realy knows what we are celebrating. Its some stoked up thing from that kind of politicians that wants to revive the 18th century national romanticism I guess. If googling it its some remembrance of some dead king and some jibberish of some form of governance noone can relate to. Its not like Norway that has some real **** to celebrate, namely getting rid of Swedish governance. Anyways happy no clue all swedes, wave a little flag or something.
To die, and to grow up, are two things one should approach with caution!
At least growing up can be mitigated.
I am now 82 years old...far too young to even think of growing up. 😎
IF I do grow up I think that I will be a perpetual youth.

I know we got a couple of master electricians in the forum. I was searching for tokin products on fleabay. Saw these tokin filters below. What are they used for? What can they be used for?
