Putting handles or wheels on or any other hardware is left up to the end user. Everybody has different preferences when it comes to that stuff. Just modify the cab to suit whatever hardware is wanted.
Yes the plans were originally for CNC building. Those are mostly there to help with alignment of the panels and bracing. They are not required. Just build however it makes sense for the tools available.
Hey so long time Othorn build lurker, I'm looking to build one of these this summer and I have the PDF plans that Ricci put together, I was wondering how necessary the dados and joinery are. In the initial version it looked like they didn't use any. Are they mostly for alignment purposes? This is the version with the doubled up bracing I am referring to.
Thanks, Michael

Good evening. Quick question.
In your opinion, is the Othorn louder and with lower tuning than the super scoop
Thank you.

That would appear to be the case, besides the Super Scoop r-design to work in groups of six or more.
Ok. I did not know that. Thanks for the info guys.
Time to start building.
have any of you guys heard two of these?
I'm hoping I can just do two to get a low enough tune for reggae and rap.

Is this the Super Scoop design that you're referring to?

Looks like it will get down to 38 Hz, and you'll need four of them to get down to 30 Hz.
No problem and thanks.
Just wanted to say a huuuuge thank you Josh, for all your work, effort and passion. Can't wait to get building these. Would you mind if we emailed you a few questions for any troubleshooting/questions we might have?
