The most beautiful woman in the world

Well, it was a rather risque song at the time......
How about Muddy Waters 'Good Morning Schoolgirl' eh?

I'm at a friends, now discussing artists and their predilection to singing about 'THE' opposite sex...... funny they dont sing about any on the newer sexes recently added to the list of....er .... sexes.

I love Anita O'Days get up here. It's an odd bit of film, but a classic, you either love it or hate it. I love her performance, she says herself she was most probably high on heroin at the time, she pulls no punches about her addiction and believed it improved her sense of timing YouTube

That's more to the point. We should avoid 'objectification' and concentrate on 'celebration'.

noun: objectification;
the action of degrading someone to the status of a mere object.
e.g."the objectification of beautiful women".

noun: celebration;
the act of honouring something.
e.g. "the celebration of beautiful women".

scottjoplin, Cole Porter was unquestionably a genius tunesmith, but those have always been cringeworthy lyrics for me - perhaps more so due to the wonderful melody - nothing subtle about “only slightly soiled”

galu - I’m thinking that working on the general assumption as to the dearth of announced females posting herein that a deep dive would discover that while puerile adolescent locker room talk is always simmering and ready to boil over, at the core there’s more misandry than misogyny at play.
Or maybe I’m just speaking for myself?
