We have a 3rd car, also black. I guess we do like every color, as long as it's black...
I take the extra washing sessions for granted because I simply love black cars...
It looks way better in a picture than it really is, it has been repainted halfway trough it's life cycle. That pretty much destroid the protective zink barrier that was there from the factory. Engine and bottom are in good shape though.

For those interested: the TC9 FD 18-08 is back in stock at Digi-Key. Other shops should follow soon I'd think.
If all went according to plan my 10F's will be in production right now.

Difficult car for a drive to the convenience store 😀
I wouldn't care, I'd do it anyway. It would have space for a suitcase (those were the rules for Le Mans back then) so the groceries would fit!

Come to think of it, even my favorite amplifier has multiples. 12 mosfets per channel: Goldmund inspired 🙂
Neighbor showed up with a Countach when I was a teen, and it made an impression. Had to get the poster! It was so low down to the ground, top of the car was about chest high! ... and I was not a tall teen! A single back tire was as wide as my dad's car! Or so it seemed! 😀
Can't believe they are coming up with a revised version in 2022!

Also a favorite of mine, never been a Ferrari fan, I had a crush on the Lambo's though.
Opening scene on one of the Cannonball movies comes to mind...

I think the Countach of today is nothing like the original... the original also was a revelation, no-one ever seen a car like that those days
It still looks modern even today 🙂.
Totally agree, and a proof of successful design.
I own a TT which have same effect on people discovering it: Technics SL-10.
Visitor:'We produce very nice object this days' , me :'nope the thing is one year younger than i am, but it's not bald as i'am, life is unfair'. 😀
I suggest you to see (there are English subtitles) two interviews to the minds behind the mechanics and style of that Lambo (and ther Miura, anc Lancia Stratos, and many other italian jewels of that era):Neighbor showed up with a Countach when I was a teen, and it made an impression.

If you go through Davide Cironi's channel, you can see some very interesting interviews to designers of that marvelleus era of supercars.
