have you had a chance to CSI your open circuit drivers?
i still say you need to send them to me for independent evaluation....😀!!

I'm sorry to say, but I did have another set back. I've had a heart attack last tuesday. I'm ok though, but it wasn't a mild stroke. It will take some time before I'm anything resembling 'functioning' again. Still in the hospital recovering.
Sad to hear about your heart attack but glad that you are able to tell us. You made it this far and so you WILL recover! Best wishes!
Sorry to hear that Ronald, very best wishes and luck to you, and all affected family/friends.
wooow... i wish you a speedy and full recovery Ronald. virtual "fruitmand" uit 010
nice British style understatement here 😎I'm sorry to say, but I did have another set back.
Thanks guys...
For those that missed it, Tom Danley is about to release 'Home' speakers and over on ASR there has been an interesting discussion about them: Upcoming Tom Danley Hifi speakers | Audio Science Review (ASR) Forum.
The answers from Tom (in person) might supply some foor for thought. It's stuff like that what made me do what I do, trying to minimize the footprint of the speaker (well, the audible footprint) by trying to limit/minimize things like diffraction etc.
Hoping to read a review by Erin (bikinpunk/hardisj) soon. Meanwhile I'm still playing with mono plus over here. I do have 18 spare drivers but haven't had the energy yet to do anything with them.

Another little reminder of why we should pursue our dreams rather sooner than later.
Wish you prompt recovery, and small heart attacks are not too bad... my grandma started having them at 60... and she lived to 98!
You still have time to finish repairing and enjoying your Towers!
Take care.
