The HotRod Aleph Circuit Board

I think Blues has given up on me.

I am making a an effort this weekend to revamp my Aleph 2 with The Blues "Hot Rod" Boards. I plan to redill the heatsinks tomorrow and wire it up over the coming week.

I was looking at the A60 internals the other day and so rather then build a whole new amp why not make an oldy but a goody better. I love my Aleph 2 so this should be fun.

The plan is to use a CLC power supply to make it quieter and bias it to the original specs. I will have to re drill and tap the heat sinks but what the heck, diy is about changing and tweaking!

Here is the original amp.

Ian, No...I think I've given up on me! So far the response from DIYers has been lackluster so it's on the shelf. I'm also away from home and most of my tools are there gathering dust. Besides my work is taking up most of my time.

I'm tweaking a Zen/F2 headphone amp circuit for my listening pleasure away from home. Picture below...

Keep going mate with your projects...let me know if you need my assistance concerning the boards. Post some pics if you can.

Instead of letting this thread sink into diyAudio oblivion, I'd like to ask the Moderators if I can post a couple of zipped AutoCad files (387kb and 191kb) for others with AutoCad/Viewer to view/print out. For interested GB organizer/s Circuit Graphics in Utah already has the files and I can refer you to them plus the $150 set-up fee is already paid for.

Jacco and Macka please e-mail me if you have Autocad or a viewer software.

Attached is additional info.
