Can you offer to the community for free demo? If so, I will love to try it out. I think it will be good for my education purpose and probably someone else, too.

Yes! Send them to me, I'll pick them apart, take some high rez photos, mercilessly criticize the materials, generally act like a...what's the word for when you stick a needle into your finger?
😀

I knew you would jump into this thread.. 🙂

How about i send you these cables, since i don't want them.

I don't do the soddering myself. I mainly braid and try to sell. Actually, when I look at you're photo, it doesn't look like any remnants of glue. As for the sodder, I'll look into that. I pay for the silver sodder... This is why business is hard...

Frank

Not even a drop of glue at all, ! just heat shrink over top of the connector.

I'm more than happy with these ones:

$4.99 at Canadian Tire.
😉

Exactly what i think of these ones that i got in the mail, except they use more wire than those and cost 30x more 🙂 Bet your's sound better too!

Good morning Jase and everyone else,

Having coffee and waking up.

I want everyone that I have to take this cheap solder matter seriously. Someone may lose their job because of this. Sounds to me that someones been taking the silver solder and selling it and using cheap solder. Unfortunatley, this is not uncommon practice over there.

Andrea, just got word back from Thailand that they should be there by Friday. They went out registered mail, I think that means the slowest way possible.

Fred, been a while since I've been back in the States, have to find my account info...

No need to fire him, cut his hands off 🙂 JOKING!

ANyways, Silver solder won't do any thing to these anyways, save the solder. Buy good wire, some decent connectors, then make them with this type of braiding.

P.s ups won't come to my door, im not in the states. Besides, UPS SUX 🙂 i never SHIP ANY THING with them, id rather send it snail mail.

Frank since we are getting no where with this, ill help you.

WHy not look at some of these rca's ?

RCA Connectors, All Brands

This is just a idea for some, there are TONS AND TONS of connectors out there, 20$ a pair gets you a few decent types of rca connector.

these 6.95$ Per Pair.

Just suggestions tho for the types, i know you want to use lower end till u get good money going makes sense. However you gota put some value and money into these parts.

And these, 24$ for a set of 4.

Want good wire,

eBay Seller: navships: Electronics, Business Industrial items on eBay.com

Start here, Naveships is VERY GOOD guy, and has very high quality cable / wire.

Thanks Jase,

Although your are brutally honest, it's exactly what I want. I asked for it and I'm a big boy and can take it. I do hope to continue getting more input and feedback from you on future products as well. If you can stomach it!

I have quite a number of different RCA plugs back in Bangkok. It is true what richie00boy says, trying to get 10 conductors into some of them isn't impossible, but certainly a pain.

Thanks for the picture posts.

Maybe remove all that un-nessasary wire then 🙂 no need for 10 pieces of wire, thats just over kill.

Neither of them is better than the cheaper Neutrik's.

The Neutrik's use very little metal, which is a great thing when transferring so weak signals is concerned. Secondly, the Neutrik is direct gold plated brass, while most probably all those shiny ones are nickel plated first. 😉

Bottom line, Frank please do not follow this suggestion...

Regarding the wire...please let me listen to the interconnects first.

However, if it's silver plated multistrand 24AWG wire... it's more than adequate, for the money asked! Hopefully though the dielectric is not PVC..

Then again, capacitance was indicated as being below 60 pF/m, suggesting that either the insulation or the geometry works well 🙂

I'm really curious to hear them...especially as I liked the "Hyper-pure copper", "Varistrand", teflon insulated, 4-wire braids from Kimber Cable.

These interconnects add to that the silver plating, which you only find from Kimber's "Silver Streak" level, and in a 3-wire braid to boot.

Sure, the Kimber "Ultraplate" silver-rhodium plated brass are very good RCA's indeed, and will probably be sonically better than the Neutrik's.
