Wussy... il ne fait pas chaud pour nous, il fait froid en fait.
Sorry Tony, it was the best I could come up with at the moment.
65F is my inside temperature. Any warmer and I begin to 'glow'
Don't be an *** Tony.
Isn't enough you brag about the booze you can buy at 1/5 the price we do here. I can't wait for your latest surprise.
There some udon down there, somewhere...
This is the true spirit of DIY, huh? I feel like we're turning into my mother...
"Tony, why go to a restaurant? I can make much better food at home".
My late mom.... she was right. But then, my family OWNS a restaurant... two actually, one in Spain one in Kitsap Cty.

Okay tonight you win.
Even if you include them disgusting radish looking fish paste things near the front of the bowl. Those are only there for show, they aren't really supposed to be eaten. The rest I bet this was delicious. Say hi to your daughter. I am thinking she made this.
Chuc Mung Nam Moi
Gung Hay Fat Choy

Some pictures from our trip.... yikes, setting up home away from home. ( just the bare necessities for the very first day, rum, vodka, and more wine coming...) ... priorities first.
Cheese Manna in Andorra La Vella... ;-)
It was the BEST trip of my life... a whole month...
And the cheese.... ay!

My aunties ran a place in East Bremerton, on the way to Silverdale, by Olympic High School. They retired so they rented it out.
It was the Best Lumpia in town.... their chicken adobo was no slouch either. It was fantastic home made style filipino... no balut.
There IS pretty good filipino food in Kitsap if you know where to find it. Lots of retired american-filipino Navy guys in there.
Here's the other one..... amazing.. the Internet has made the World so small, huh? I recommend everything in their menu. Personally... it's simply awesome. Say hello to Fidelia from "Tony in California"...

Yes, come to Momma I said , she give you a good a$$ whooping when you speak to Momma like that.I feel like we're turning into my mother...
My momma cooked better than your momma.
And my aunties too...
ROTFLOL..
And she never called me Little Tony. Heck, I'm likely older than you.
RESPECT...
What did your family restaurant(s) make? Vietnamese (yum)....?
Complex families indeed, good great food for sure.

Now you've stuck a fork in my heart Tony. Your Momma used to give me 'piano' lessons. I will never forget her.My momma cooked better than your momma.
I try and stay off there when laughingROTFLOL..
You sure as heck are man, you were born in the 50'sHeck, I'm likely older than you.
Earned, not inherited.RESPECT...
Two, actually three since the 90's, in a little town called Prince Rupert BC.What did your family restaurant(s) make? Vietnamese (yum)....?
Vietnamese was of course a part of the menu but certainly not the focus.
I don't even have to do the rock, paper, scissors with you buddy. And my aunties too...
I win just on sheer number of aunties and talent. Unless you were part of the population explosion experiments, this one is in the bag for Calhoun.
Well, you forget my great, great, great grandfather started the ranch/butcher/restaurant business before our grandmas were even born... I don't think the Pacific NW was even colonized then.
🐑🐑
Hawai'i was just coming fresh from the Party where they got rid of the Famous English Captain...
🧑🍳
Born in the late 50s.... indeed... now you make me feel old.
😉
When I turned 30, my coworkers took me out to lunch. Our boss was like 45 or so... I made a joke about how "old" he was... his retort was classic:
"Well, if the World ended today I have lived longer than you".
It was classic.
There. 😛

Tony, that pig looks exhausted.
Yes... it actually surprised me... I was on my way to the restroom in the back of the restaurant and there was this door to the kitchen and I saw that jut waiting to be served... so I snuck in to take the picture.
I don't think I could ever eat that. I don't like my animal food to look like the animal it came from. Not even the Chinese carp they bring out at the end of the meal.
Eons ago my mom was at a banquet in her honor back in the Old Country. She sat at the end of table, my cousin to her right and they brought out a little piggy like that. They set it up facing her as my cousin did the "honors"...
Mom just lost her appetite... she told me she just ate veggies and drunk the wine...
Can't help with that Jack but I can ask my wife to share her pizza dough recipe if you like. She's getting quite good at it.
This is for Tony again as he feels I go too easy on the cheese. I probably did again.
Maybe he doesn't know there are four layers of cheese. It's used as glue as I go along to ensure the toppings don't slide off. This time I oiled and salted the outside of the crust before baking.

Well, those are good looking pizzas...
BUT...
When Yours Truly makes pizza, there is but ONE layer of cheese. But, OMH, it is a Mega Layer...
As I noted, my model is Mount Saint Helens.
You pile the cheese on and on and on until it looks like Mt Saint Helens in January of 1980. By the time it's done cooking it should look like January 1981.
In my pizza, you don't see the other toppings.
OK, sometimes I'll put some of the pineapple and green pepper on top so they follow the cheese lahars. The Canadian bacon just hides under a few fresh tomatoes under the thousands of feet of cheese. Maybe even build a little Reflection Lake with the pitted black olives.
😉
