1w current dumping in 8 ohm. It should be better than 0,01% dist but the OPA:s with rail to rail is not so good as one could expect with a lot of output current.
With LM 4562 dist is lower. But output power too. R6 can be adjusted to get better balance in the current mode bridge.

Antone happen to have distortion figures for LM1875 and LM3875 with a 16 ohm load? Considering a low power amp where I need 10 watts at most and would like to leave it on long term.
Thanks
Thanks
Sounds like a idea.maybe I should try a battery 12v powered amp.
What I wanted to try too. 2x 12 volts for dual supply.
Should be nice clean power. About 4 to 5 watts into 8 ohms
Rat nest build back on 2009, NE5532 + 2x MP1620/MN2488 Sanken darlingtons, supplied by 20V and up to 36V,
installed in a recycled Pioneer GM20 car amp case.
Believe it or not it s still perfectly functional 16 years later while being about 24/7 on , the other day i passed it through
the hot water fawcet to clean the accumulated dust, after wich once dried it got back to its PC amp duty.
