I am no expert, but I can listen to the speakers at very low levels with clear voices and fall asleep easily... This was a comment from AudioFanMan and I totally agree with him...
I quote "At low volume, the room is filled with glorious sound. Every frequency is crystal clear. At low volume I feel like they are playing MUCH louder than they really are."

32y0,
The Jantzen ployester damping that you have referred to - is it available locally or you are sourcing from abroad?
Here is an option (Monacor MDM-3) from a UK shop that is a blend of wool and polyester as Joe has advised on his site:
Acoustic Damping Pads - Wool
However, Joe refers to a 60:40 blend, whereas the MDM-3 is a 75:25 mix.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I was asking about the Jantzen polyester since I have it laying around. I realize it is 100% polyester as opposed to the wool/dacron mix, but Joe also mentions he has been using polymax more recently which is also 100% polyester.
The density for the polymax isn't mentioned in the datasheet though.
I will probably just give it a try. Thank again zman01!

32y0,
Looks like 100% polyester materials is also ok. Found this post which includes guidance from Joe:
