I guess my question above does not meet the minimums required ?
So, Im sure this will go over well with everyone too!
If the Elsinore's are built as per Joe's specs how many clean watts could the they manage before showing signs of overpower ?

I'm glad you posted this actually because it made me realize that I bought 33uf capacitors instead of 33Ohm resistors for the stage 1 Bolserst mod...
Now, what to do with 8 additional 33uf capacitors. 🙂

Hi Joe, did you ever go any further on investigating the possibility of a MW16P-8 Satori version of the Elsinore?
Anyone heard from Joe recently? Sent an email with regards to waveguides I received a month ago.
I am no expert, but I can listen to the speakers at very low levels with clear voices and fall asleep easily... 😴 This was a comment from AudioFanMan and I totally agree with him...
I quote "At low volume, the room is filled with glorious sound. Every frequency is crystal clear. At low volume I feel like they are playing MUCH louder than they really are."

JarMar: Today I just saw your finished project. Beautiful. I still hope to start building mine quickly. Maybe then we can meet to exchange experiences.
Thank you szczery. Elsionre are great speakers. Don't hesitate. Let me know during the construction process. They inspired me to look for a new amplifier. I think it's worth giving them a good power partner.
32y0,
The Jantzen ployester damping that you have referred to - is it available locally or you are sourcing from abroad?
Here is an option (Monacor MDM-3) from a UK shop that is a blend of wool and polyester as Joe has advised on his site:
Acoustic Damping Pads - Wool
However, Joe refers to a 60:40 blend, whereas the MDM-3 is a 75:25 mix.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I was asking about the Jantzen polyester since I have it laying around. I realize it is 100% polyester as opposed to the wool/dacron mix, but Joe also mentions he has been using polymax more recently which is also 100% polyester.
The density for the polymax isn't mentioned in the datasheet though.
I will probably just give it a try. Thank again zman01!

32y0,
Looks like 100% polyester materials is also ok. Found this post which includes guidance from Joe:
