It's a Micro so only the one speaker compartment.Nice, you stacked the two speaker compartiments?
I added the electronics compartment to the long side so I could get everything in.
We got our hands on a router, which bits do we need to buy for a Boominator?
I already found the recommendation for a 1/2" bit for the handles, what is recommended for the woofer cutouts?

Look what the mail man brought
I suppose I need to start collecting the rest of the parts for a Signature build.
Has anyone else in the USA received their order from Loudspeakers Plus yet?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

different design
if I were to almost chop the boominator design in half and fold upon itself such that there would be a wall of sound instead of sound from all directions, would this make a difference to sound quality?
🙂

Yes, it will completely ruin the sound quality..... The bipolar (back to back) speaker design is a key enclosure design principle....
BJ
Plus the Boominator already gives a 'wall of sound'. Because the same soundwaves are wrapping around the enclosure on the other side they'll meet in the middle, so it's like there's a huge invisible wall there.
And if you make it non-bipolar (don't!), there will also be sound on the other side. It's not like all music is focused in one area and you don't hear anything on the other side.

Hi!
I use my Samsung galaxy S4 when playing with my boominator. The sound is incredible but I have realized that when using a Iphone instead of using my S4 (and other Samsung-phones) the output/sound level is way higher. Is it like this because Iphones have "better/higher" output levels than phones with Android? If yes, is there something i can do to get the same loudness with my S4 or am I screwed? 🙂
PS: I've tried downloading some equalizers but it hasn't done any major difference.

I know a number of people in the USA ordered drivers. Did you get yours too? How did it work out for you?

Got mine last week. $$$ is tight. Gonna have to make my build a winter project. Would like to coordinate with you if you buying a any parts that can be discounted and on the work in general. Like for plans, and tricks, etc. But for right now the drivers are just sitting in the box.
Milky, very nice! How do you like the sound?
I absolutely love it ... its a little corker 🙂
Most of the mini's I see have the rounded edges around the woofers. Done with a router I believe? Is it necessary?
