If they cannot be drilled, how to you secure the device to the sink?
Drill and tap to M3 or 4-40 threaded holes into the aluminum frame and use those to hold an L section channel clamp bar. Vunce has some nice closeup build photos I think.

I'm imagining a pair of long, slim monoblocks with the heat sinks sticking up in the rear. The many design aesthetics have me reaching for the sketchbook. That's nice looking work Vunce!

Nice to see the growing list of interest. When we reach about 25 boards, I will start taking pre-orders for the GB on my Etsy shop.
Can't wait!

I don’t think it’s a problem to show you guys what I am going to be making on a P2P veroboard to test out a new SSR speaker protection/delay system that Jhofland designed. It’s very clever and compact. It uses an optoisolator to sense the DC and several comparators to decide if the level warrants disconnecting the speakers. The second comparator checks a time constant to give enough time for the turn on thump to settle. These comparators then drive another optoisolator to drive the gates of a pair of low RDSon MOSFETs (the Solid State Relays) that make/break the connection to the speaker. All will be powered from the positive rail via a 27v zener diode voltage reducer.

Hehe, I forgot that I have a liquid cooling setup somewhere waiting for me in a box. However, I recently acquired a pair of very nice Mac Pro workstation CPU coolers that might be perfect for the job.
The liquid cooling does keep things compact. Still needs a fan though. So Noctua will still be the one to use.

Hi X, nice looking circuit on the speaker protection / delay cct. If that all works, I assume you will be squeezing all of that onto the ABBB mono PCB as well.
It’s already squeezed on the board in the 3d renders. Look at bottom middle of board above the NTC and chassis spade terminal. Everything but the kitchen sink...
Yep, can see it. You guys must be working on all of this 24 hours a day - we cant keep up with the progress you are making!!
Between Wash DC, Long Island NY, Germany, Dhaka, Melbourne and Seattle, that’s pretty much round the clock 24hrs a day work on this! Never thought of it that way before. 5 time zones.
Efficient way of doing things though, with 6 guys around the world all doing and concentrating on different parts of the overall design. That would also help with checking updates and new features as you are adding right now to this new design well done to all, I know you are in DC and Hugh is in Melbourne and JPS in Germany, so to the other guys a big thanks all round.
But the heavy lifting on the engineering and layouts is done by the professionals: JPS64 and Jhofland. We are very lucky in DIYA to have their expertise.
These look too good to pass up. Thanks for all the work you you guys are putting into this project. Added to the list hope it’s OK.
