we get PurePath™ Ultra-HD Analog-Input Class-D Amplifier chip and EVM from TI company some days ago, we will test it and make one new version SMPS +class D all in one module soon.
Maybe TPA3255 have good performance than TAS5630B

Our technology made one drawing of the ac specifications just now, attach here. please check.
this module have very good SMPS unit, this unit can boot from 40Vac 50Hz,
module shuntdown when the AC supply voltage down to 15Vac,and it can reboot when ac voltage up to 36Vac.
we test it under music playing and speakers connected. module run under light power out conditions.
Even you can add one 60Vdc to the AC input. the module run ok too.
if you meet room circuit fuse break, please check the ac input schematic, maybe you connect the ac input wire error. shorted in some point.
it is balance input, you can use one good convertor from SE signal to BAL, or you can connect '-' pin to the 'GND' pin directly（ input port P3 and P7）.
Usually, you can not make this module fault, even you add peak input signal, or shorted output ,it is hard design.
if you find this module have problems indeed, please return the module to us, we will check the reason and replace one new for you.

TAS5630B PERFORMANCE WELL NOW
we make one 1+1 backup amp for the high railway broadcast application, due to 48vdc supply on the train, we select TAS5630B again, in our mind , this chip unstable in the last version, but we think TI have revise the chip BUG year ago, we want to try it again.
We order some 15+ produced chip, we found current version chip works very well at PBTL conditions.
it can delivery out 45V/4ohm=506.25W , about 10-15% THD+N, shorted the output under this conditions, perfect protection, long time continous runing , no problem too.
switch to another tas5630B channel, works well too, if solder 2c mark tas5630, chip burnt when high power out.
We have burnt lots of tas5630 chip, 2013 version tas5630b have bugs too, we have not use this chip for a long time. but current testing so good, TKS for the TI eggineers efforts.

Thank you for the schematics of AC circuit. It makes it all clear. Documentation is incorrect - it should be marked as all AC connectors N-G-L or better yet you should mark it on the board itself like you did for other connectors.
The board is working now and the sound is very good - very balanced, transparent and natural. The only small concern is that CLIP LED is blinking even with a 1/4 of the power level. That means THD is more then 1% as far as I understand.
To make it truly universal it would be nice to add couple DRV134PA chips for unbalanced mode. Also you already have +12V on board and will be nice to have -12V for external modules like unbalanced converter or preamp.
Other then that the quality of the board and sound is great!
