Beautiful work. I built some similar Arai horns some years back out of MDF and they didn't look anywhere near as good as yours.

I think the throat is the design killer for these style horns; weird constrictions/expansions and shapes screw with the wavefront too much for hifi. I've since moved on to round traxes and OS designs with better (insert disclaimers here) sonics.

I was amazed by the high frequecny of TAD EXCLUSIVE 2402 composed of TH4001+TD4001 Driver.
So intend to clone TH4001 drived by TD4001 in the future.
😉 😉 😉

I've been atempting to locate a print in ENGLISH to build a pair... found it in somehing I'd need translation to understand.
Wish someone would offer (via EBay) a print.
Anyone touched base with TAD to inq. about their selling the print to the DIY community?

This is exactly what I've been looking for, for quite some tiome now.
I know I've seen drawings somewhere on the net, but I lost my bookmarks file some time ago, and haven't been able to find it egain.
If someone has drawings, or links to some theory, that would be nice.
The Iwata design is referenced at the Phil Mundi ste, but I cannot find any prints of Iwatas work....???

Really georgeous work!

But the problem is that it's not really a horn or system equal to the beauty of the wood itself, imho.

Think I'd want a different horn myself...

But I suspect there will be buyers for it as a product, if you can make it/them in any sort of reasonable amount of labor time, otherwise it is too expensive!
