Perhaps your simplest bet for now would be to make a few assumptions and take a measurement or two. How far you want to go will be a matter for you as time goes on but here's a suggestion that may get you the best result for the effort at this stage of the game.
The first thing you could do is to assume that the sound, at say, 30 degrees off axis gives a good enough representation of the speaker as a whole. Chose for now to listen at this angle with the speakers crossed in front of you.
You might also assume that 1600 Hz will work. What size is your woofer?
Could you create an frd file for the tweeter and the woofer based on a reflection free measurement at that angle?

It's an 8 inch B&C 8NDL51. These were intended to go with a subwoofer and be a simple two way system. I had read that satellites for watching movies should be more directional than normal hifi speakers.
I don't know if I can create those kinds of frd files yet. I have limited time to spend on this project. I just ordered the crossover parts and they have not arrived yet, for example. I haven't even built the tweeter boxes. I'll get to it all eventually. Thanks again for your generous help.
I like the way you used theback panel as an abstract canvas for the crossover, you have potential 😎

Thanks! 😀
I'll get around to measuring them when I have time. I also need to make some supports for these, like a box I can bolt to the bottom of the speakers and fill with sand. 😱
