Alas I can't take credit for that - I bought the wood as a CNC cut 'flat pack' so all I had to do was assemble it!
Just built this tonight:
I moved our Adire Shiva MKII/Bash 500S sub to my office and we were lacking some serious bass in the bedroom (oh the humanity!). So I found an Adire Tempest, GR Research plate amp and a blown Citation 7.2 subwoofer, all for $170 (and my time spent running around the city to pick up all the parts).
The factory JBL woofer for the Citation 7.2 sub is a 14" so I needed to jigsaw a larger hole to fit the Tempest. Cut out a hole on the back to fit the plate amp, screwed everything in and voila, now over 100lbs (hence the hand truck to move it from garage to bedroom). This should match my MTM CSS WR125ST/Aurum Cantus G2 monitors quite well. Nice fun, lazy subwoofer that can hang with the $1k crowd with ease and it doesn't look like a Home Depot horror story like my bare MDF Shiva does 😀

I love it - does everything I want it to, from delicately integrated jazz double bass, to monster rap basslines, and sub-20Hz movie LFE is powerful yet effortless, while being incredibly 'clean' and 'tight' 🙂
