If we are going to defend democracy,then please,let it start right here.
Recently,I had a post move to Texas and I find this rather an insult to democracy and to my own intelligence.

There is a huge difference between assessing the strength of the pro-Israel lobby in the USA and it's effect on American foreign policy, and repeating anti-Semitic shibboleths and hate slogans.

What I meant in that context is simply: don't underestimate the powers at work,and don't forget that a lot of capital/power in the U.S. and all over the world is in the hands of Jewish people,so,we better take that factor into account.

Frank, post what you want, resign if you want, I don't care. If your arguments have intellectual validity, they can stand for themselves, or get shot down in smoke. This is a forum for people who want to discuss audio, not promote xenophobia, or insult people. That is why I removed your post.
Until yesterday, I was proud of the way that everyone contributed to a valid political argument, discussing issues in a very sensible manner, and with due regard to other members opinions, but for some reason it all went downhill...
The forum is called everything else, and as mods we will not censor what everything else is, as it is all part of our DIY family, and part of getting to know each other, so apart from two posts, that can be read in Texas if you really want to, I am going to reinstate the rest of this thread unchanged. What we wanted to do as mods, was not censor, but give heated opinions a chance to cool down, so the real point of the forum could carry on, i.e. people building hi-fi stuff.

I was rather surprised to find a thread of this kind on this forum. This forum has nothing do with politics and as such I believe that this thread should have been deleted when it was initially started. We discuss DIY audio and other projects on this forum. It is not the proper place to discuss personal feelings about international political issues.

I do not have the specific names of the people who financed Bill Gates. However, whoever did has less money than he does, because for quite a few years he and Sam Walton kept trading places at the top of the charts for the people with the most money in the USA.
Jews in America probably do have a higher income than average. But I also believe that they have a higher percentage of college graduates and post graduate degrees than average as well. Don't higher education and higher income tend to go together?

I can´t see why it has to be moved. inflamatory? I don´t know, it may be a wrong statement. So someone should post an answer to clear this up. But everone should have the right to say something in error, only he has to accept correction.
Off topic: this is something like the off topic forum, erverone should have the right to post off topic, unless he disturbs a thread of someone else.
Generell: This deleting kind of censorship is bad. If you "delete" a posting i would prefer to make X or * instead of the words you don´t like but don´t move the hole post. You can´t understand as thread later - to much information lost. And with this censorship you take away the possibility for diskussion and correction on statements. You disturb the process of understanding anotherones point of few. You disturn dialectical progress by stealing one side this process needs. Thesis . Antithesis. Synthesis. No progress without Antithesis.
Pinkmouse i thought you understood this when you wasn´t mod. Please think about this. You should only delete if this happens to protectz the members from danger etc - like legal consequences. Not because you don´t like the posting, you "think" its inflamatory , or because itzs so easy for you to delete and move.

If you haven´t time any more now to learn, you should change something. In you own interest.
I say not you should give up your position as moderator. I don´t want to fight against you or anyone else. But I personaly think, a moderator must think after reading a post and before he moves or deletes something, a member is allowed to think after reading a post.
