It appears to be fine.

Looking good! What is V+ going to be in this amp? Still 28v?

Thanks. I am about to start on a "standard" 24v PSU in its own case for an imminent F6. This won't be enough for the VFet2. So, I will have to put that in the consideration column.
The DIY versions of the circuit boards are here
Great news! Thank you!!
I wonder commercial version is also planned...
My 32V psu for BA3 is perfect for this!! Awesome!!
Now I'll start scratching my head to see if I will be able to mount both in the same enclosure with some sort of selection switch!!

From my understanding this is only for diyer's from the gracious Mr Pass. He is providing his supply of these Vfets for us along with designing a board and plate. Unheard of generosity from a major manufacturer of any product. Using his talents and time and not for monetary gain.

I always consider FirstWatt is not for monetary gain, but his generosity to non-DIY people.🙂
If I may, I'll take 4. I reckon I might use them for a few things - a pre amp seems logical!
Um, and happy to pay something too. Let me know what's good for you 🙂
Ok, I have submitted updated board for manufacture. The price for the fixed boards is $7.50/each (one channel). The messed up boards have two pins swapped per BJT, which can be fixed, but it's messy, these are free.

There are a few other changes, connectors needed a bit more room, more standardized B2B connector, and I am supporting a dual RCA input (using other half of the feedback DPDT relay for input switching)
I will free up my PM inbox 🙂
Ok, two channels that curve like the prototypes.
When the brackets get in, I think we'll be good to go.

Anyone in the Twin City's interested in hearing the V-FET part 2. I will be demoing my set at the Audio Society of Minnesota meeting tonight.
I'm hooking them up to our Big Magnepan 3.6's. I'm planning on rolling them off at about 80hz and using the subs so I can get a little more out of them.
Fun for all...🙂
Except for those who didn't update their calendar or get a reminder email.
