Sony VFETs just became true unobtainium
I guess I'll have to see what can be done about that.

Curious
I have 4 2sk82 (kd-33) will the 2sj28 (kf-33) be usefull together in this amp?
Yes, I think they will work fine.
I have sent an email to Acronman to see if there are parts left. Their website
shows them, but of course that could be out of date.
Last time I looked, there were more than 1,000 pairs still available, and it is
surprising that they would have gone that quickly, unless somebody scooped
them up potentially for resale.

Thanks for the answer😊. I just placed the order.
Circuitdiy told me they had no more pairs.
Very appropriate...thought for a second I was worried you were going to
pull a Matthew McConaughey.
Thanks Nelson! I like that there is a something new to learn in every atricle like I never experimented with cascode feedback etc and that is nice. The other part is not very interesting to many people beacuse you just can`t buy this parts. Almost all transistors are hard to get. The SITransistors are now days fake or very expensive, and if you have to match the pairs...the "fun" never stops, 2SK/2SJ mosfets are obsolete too...
What, the amp it`s not single ended and no lightbulbs??
I guess out of your reaction, that you think is too complex. I think you`re wrong, there are a different types of complexity, this is in fact very simple circuit, the coplexity is "vertical" ,as I would say, so try to read it

No that's a gross misinterpretation. "Mind Blown" is a popular meme in the U.S. It's like "Wow!" times 100.
