Actually, we don't have any roadworthiness testing here either (in our State - Western Australia) although the other States do. Testing is only done if a car is imported, significantly modified, or you are directed by the police to get a car checked because they've noticed some issue. Even then, the police only usually do that if you've annoyed them in some way and they can't do you for something else.
It is pretty silly really (not having regular checks), but it has a lot going for it in terms of not having the hassle!

Being around furniture, look at the three chair legs shown without stretchers. With the 200 plus pounds on the chair. I expect it would collapse if the man really delivers a blow.
Why was there something else of interest? 😉

..and three arms!?
Some time ago I had my head MRI'ed, the doc came back and reported, on my left side brain something didn't look right, and on the right side, there was nothing left.
No wonder I don't findmany some of the jokes that entertaining.

Though not in the same class of transport, my 2007 Arctic Cat 650 H1 ATV Is also a thumper. I kick myself for not buying one years ago to assist in plowing the snow on my 1/4 mile long driveway - one of those things that works far better than it should at it's task.Yep, plenty of V1s around. AKA “thumpers”. The bigger the bore, the better. My DR650 had some great low-end grunt. Was so sad to sell it, but it won’t be long before I own another thumper!
I'm not old enough, but I do recall when these were on every billboard...
More fun than a snowblower, too, eh?Though not in the same class of transport, my 2007 Arctic Cat 650 H1 ATV Is also a thumper. A couple of years ago I bought a heavy duty snowblower for my 500 ft driveway. The front-end loader on the tractor doesn't work that well. It gets all but an inch or two, but then the tractor tires pack that down. It turns to ice until warmer temperatures come back. Last year, and so far this year, the snowblower has only been a deterrent. Either way, I'm happy to have it. Should be fun to operate if needed.

Perhaps she will run for Office ?I'm not old enough, but I do recall when these were on every billboard...

This is a bit dated as far as an article, but some may find it interesting.

Naughty.
On The Lawrence Welk show they used to advertise something called Geritol and how it was good for maintaining youth (aimed at an older generation and women). The slogan was always “My wife; I think I’ll keep her.”
I recall those probably as recently as the 70’s.

I prefer to think of it as cheeky.I remember those!
Naughty.

For sure, something like that would never show up on a billboard today.
