Fill it first, then flip it over and use the back. You’ll need to make a template for the outer ring, and manually center and secure it while routing.
Might become too thin at the place for the speakers, which is part of the reason for my post above.
A patch on the inside and fill the gaps (especially on the flange for the woofer). There’s always a way to *-rig things. Just depends how badly you wanted to use that cutting board for a speaker baffle.
Yesterday I was sanding some bits square, but they were just never right, I then tested my set-square - shortly afterwards it flu across the room at high speed. Similar to when I used a piece of steel angle whilst gluing a pair of speakers, never presume anything is square.

It seems the balloon shot down by the US authorities was at 60,000 feet altitude.
If it was indeed a surveillance unit, the would have a very broad view, several hundred miles, of what was below it.
There are reports of Chinese underwater drones that are on 6 month missions, I wonder what kind of power source is used....they are about 6 feet long, and three broad, maybe a foot thick.
