I keep forgetting to put 😉 after humor. Seems some folks don’t get it.

As to botanicals my late great uncle was a horticulturist who worked for a period in the Middle East. As many countries forbid alcohol, THC based products were used. In his assignment he helped the farmers of what was a legal crop.

Got an emergency call two days ago. Friends had bought a car from a guy, and had this guy take care of their old (crappy) car, but he hadn't signed the papers, taking over the ownership of the junk car.
Anyhow, this guy was a real scumbag, threatening my friends but in the very beginning he had come over telling them that his docter had prescribed to many Tramadol and wondered if my friends could help him sell some of the stuff ... 🙄

Here Tramadol went to keep prescription with chemist, earlier it was that you got on prescription, and could refill it.
Apparently Benadryl and Tramadol together are used by addicts, according to a surgeon friend.
Anyway, kid stuff in comparison with the opioid problem in the USA, apparently very profitable for the patent holders.

Here betel leaf was and is chewed for digestion, it seems coca leaf was similarly used in South America.

Moderators : delete if you find this bad in taste, or offensive.

I know that Tramadole is "childs play", but over here (in Sweden) it is regarded as the entry to heavier drugs.
Normally, to get your prescripted medicin, you must see a doctor. If he thinks you're not in a need for a heavy painkiller, you won't get a prescription.
BUT we have a bunch of on-line doctors that doesn't do background checks and you log in to a bunch of those services and get a one-year prescription from a handful of doctors and sell the stuff to people.
