Something to lighten the mood

are you saying we're fat?
Not as fat as we are apparently. I just heard that a Canadian large shirt is classified as extra large in your parts. Not sure if that's shoulders or girth but from where I stand, it might just be those who stood longer at the grazing trough.
Funny thing is that when I go south of the border, the grazing troughs (All you can eat buffet's) are so much better than here so I'm a little confused. People can lose weight at our buffets but just an hour south of here I can eat really good food until I explode, for the same price.

I don't go to buffets anymore for self preservation. It hurts too much. I am a piggy with little sense of control. Gimme the yummy, I fill my tummy.

Then I die.

Wife wants me alive.

Be nice to fat people!

And I had always thought that the endless buffet was strictly an American experience…

Once, on thanksgiving no less, after a family disagreement, we wound up at a Royal Fork buffet. The chain of restaurants was where the food from Safeway, a grocery chain, would wind up after it’s prime. My buddy and I were listening to AC/DC on a Walkman while an older woman was choking in another booth, she didn’t make it, solidifying a lasting image of the domestic buffet.

When I was in Detroit, my west coast friend and I would venture into CA in order to just get some legit Asian food/markets something not to be found in Motown.

I hope so, at least I hope more of us get in the faces of the wastrels.

It's like hunting, "you took(killed) it, you eat it!"

As kids, we couldn't leave the table with anything on our plates, so we took only a taste of anything we weren't sure of.

Yes, I can’t imagine another continent that has food wastage as ours does. The ‘proud’ Canadians are not any better than our southern cousins. It can be disgusting at times. Even when it can’t be used, it doesn’t end up where it should, it goes to the landfill. So sad.

Uh, I am not lightening the mood, I will stop now. Time to get back on topic.

and collected for compost.

We are allowed to put unlimited amounts of things like used cooking oil, salt, flour, and other items in ours (ie: items that can be detrimental to plants) so they go through a process to separate the stuff for making biomethane gas for fuel, oil based insecticides and somehow manage to end up with a product for composting.

Did this yesterday.. the first thing it does is a slow barrel roll and managed to crick my back.. they need taller seats for us 6’4+ peeps:

In ride video..

Needless to say he remainder of the park rides all rollercoasters.. and today I’m suffering.

Probably one of the most innovative rollercoaster rides in a long time. Only thing it didn’t have is vertical rise, peak and drop. However the spinning seat carriages just adds that to effect. You know it’d going to be good when the seat clamps down then clamps even harder.
