"Of course I am drunk! I'm an alcoholic you stoopid cow!!"
Well alcoholism isn't funny. Actually.

Every so often I see an adult using a bicycle to get to or from work. The frequent reason is they have lost their drivers license for drunk driving.
Seems to be a bit successful at discouraging repeat behavior and hinting to others that driving while intoxicated is a bad idea.
Holiday weekends every so often the police set up sobriety check points. So far I have always been waved through. Not really one of my worries.

Mark, thanks for the explanation. I feel better knowing it really isn't that humorous. More of an observation on evolution. In general, I love Gary's stuff.
So, for you to see an adult cycling to work and back signifies a banned driver due to drink driving, is that a sad state of affairs in your neighbourhood? Luckily we can drink in walking distance of 3 pubs, 1 of which dates back to 1380, another dates from the 15th century and the newest from the late 17th century. You're welcome to a beer in one...
Depends on what the adult and bicycle look like, also the neighborhood where they traveling.
I may be wrong, but when it is a scraggly adult using a child’s bicycle to get to work, I suspect it is because they don’t have a driver’s license.
Perhaps I see this more often than some is the quality of enforcement.
