Something to lighten the mood

I am the "Go To Guy" for my Landlord!

He was concerned that his expensive property in Portsmouth might get flattened by Storm Eunice. Phoned me up. Panic not, Mike. I already had the situation in hand. Windows shut. Hatches battened down.

Hanging baskets taken off their mountings and put behind the wall. My main concern.

Storm Eunice was less Intense than we feared. Not a patch on the one in 1987, which (Frankly) kept me up all night with the noise.

Today's Storm Franklin is just a Run of the Mill storm IMO, but 3 SouthWesters in a week is unusual.

Gratuitous picture of Curling Skipper Eve Muirhead included. She keeps her head when all around are losing theirs. 😀

We use the term "curling parents" for parents that constantly sweeps the ice for their kids so they can glide thru life ...

Of course the Olympic games are broadcast on a commercial channel, not available to me (finances) and I am not that into sports anyway, but I find it rather comfortbale that Swedish athletes are doing great.

There was a Telugu film where the hero (actor Raj Tarun) buys chicken poop from chicken farms and sells it as fish feed to fish farmers.
It seems that is a good food for fish, along with duck poop.
😵
Pretty odd occupation.

Another person we knew rented Dhobi ghats to Dhobis, they paid for the time used to wash clothes there (Dhobi is washer man in Hindi).

Wouldn´t be surprised AT ALL at finding that ground dry fis is part of normal chicken feed.
Hmmm..... it's no wonder why I don't eat fish..... I knew something stinks.
Now lobster and shrimps..... yumm.
