Something to lighten the mood

A woman I know once asked me a weird question...
"Do you rotate your underwear?" (she meant do I pull clean undies from the oldest-washed ones from the drawer)

I replied: "Yeah, I wear them for a week, then turn them inside-out and wear them for another week, after that I boil them in water to make High Tea" :yikes:

Sometimes I can't help myself. On Saturday, me 'n' my nervous buddy went to the amusement park. After a while I convinced him to go on the roller coaster. You know the big one, not the little kiddie ride. So we buckle in and get underway. Right when you go around the corner, and the wheels engage and start doing the noisy clackety, clackety, thing, I pulled an old rusty bolt out of my pocket and said 'where'd this come from?'

So how is nervous buddy doing these days... still in cardiac rehab??

It is nice to have an older local fun park with a colorful history where you can tell stories about the people who died there.

They used to have a race car track until a car crashed into the stands and killed or inured some spectators.
They used to have boat races until a boat flipped into the stands and killed or injured some spectators.
The kiddy section has some cars where you can touch the spinning wheels on the cars. Time to learn risk assessment just like a playground.
Then there was a shooting over there back in the 90s.
Makes the new park seem boring in some respects.
