So these was not a faulty IPS , in these case the OPS burn to (you mentioned you speaker gone) or the OPS let the V on the speaker........
These case speakers protection must😱

These could be made available. I'd want Vzaichenko's okay first though. OS has designed a supply board that could be made available too. I've been doing a lot of work with microcontrollers lately and have a few ideas that are going to be in the next evolution of boards to make them much easier to work with. It would likely be a good idea to wait for them.

I'm trying to figure how to best handle this....I don't want to do multiple shipments to the same member...this seems wasteful. I also don't want people to have to wait too long to get input boards. Lets wait until the KND boards are approved by beta testers and then decide how to proceed.

I have a question about board prices. It seems in the beginning some of the members were getting much better pricing on the small orders of boards, much less for these small input sections than EvanC is getting here. Was that because you were ordering very small sample numbers as first time buyers from some of these board houses? I think you were looking at something like $5 per board or there about? Anybody comment on this. Is it just that now we are looking at larger volumes of boards that the prices are now commercial endeavors?

Just wondering.

Feel free to order some boards and distribute them as you see fit. After you get through the batch, see if you feel any different.

I don't support gouging (and by no means am I making any suggestion as such), but there is value in the risk, time, effort and materials required to co-ordinate and execute a groupbuy. If someone feels they can do better then I suppose they are free to do so.

I find it nice to be able to have buys like this. There is not much to worry about as someone else has done the verification and buyers can be assured the board will work. At least that was how I did it - always a build of at least one board to QC it before dime #1 was ever collected. If the batch were to have a fault I was out the whole enchilada; I would rather bin an order than put out anything that required remediation.

Anyhow, it nice to see continued interest.

Seems to me it`s the same now as then..

I am very happy that a year later, the prices are the same..and that someone are willing to do group buy`s and design board`s.. I can`t design s...t, so i`m happy that i get boards..

I think:
- the person designing/doing group buys should get free boards..
- all, or at least moust of the expensis paid for like gas,packaging and so on..
- all prices are plus Paypal fees.Period.
- beer money for when the group buy is over, so he`ll forget all the work involved, and do it again. 🙂

I wasn't trying to say anyone is making money at this or that it wasn't a lot of work to do all of this, if it was taken that way I apologize. I was just wondering about how some of the very early boards were less, at least I thought that they were. I was wondering if it was because people were ordering as a first time buyer at some of the board houses. just trying to see how all this works. I wasn't complaining about the price of the current group buy. Is there a point where volume would lower the cost of boards or are we so far from that level that it isn't something to talk about? I just have no background in ordering any boards so am just trying to get some idea how this all works. If you ordered a 1,000 of the same boards would the price stay the same, where is the break point if anyone knows?

It all depends on what board house you choose but most start to give a price break around 50 pieces that I've looked into. Price breaks from there happen as quantities double.
