Meanman, this is more or less what I have used.

Yes, I build the 5 pair fet version, very happy with it !😉 I have used the KND IP stage, sound is very clean with superb midrange and bass.
Hi Pete glad to see your back.
Have you thought about going on with Samuel Groner circuit, to see how far we can get with this circuit?
Best regards
Kim

Pete, my Slewmaster is still keeping me extremely happy, thanks again. Very good to have you back !!😀😀

VERY pleased ...
Wolverine 2b = 16ppm thd 20K + 200nv offset. (below).
The "blameless design" really likes the superpair 😀 .
I might cascode the VAS and use TMC compensation to get <10ppm 20khz.
You will just have to plug this one in - idiotproof (nothing derogatory meant).
servo + simple LPT/current mirror AND clip-proof with less components.

Why you use KSA1381 in position Q11.. is it important?
I have a very few of these transistors, Could I use BC560 instead ?

Super-pair likes to have a matched Cob (base capacitance) , I tried a KSA992/BC Q11 ....
more parasitic oscillations without similar devices.
If I cascode the super-pair With a KSC3503 , I could use a bc560/550 pair.
I'm not quite done.

Now I'm done.
(below) Schema ,ASC , and models.
14-15ppm 20k , no (heavy) saturation , no stability issues.
Compared to the Badger , a little better.\\
1-10Khz = .5ppm 10-20Khz = 2 -15ppm 20K.

Hi Pete, I like this kind of asymmetric VAS arrangement with CCS on one side

Cheers,
Valery

Why ? Distortion products ...
What do you think of SMPS for audio PS's and either soft switched or communtated
class G output stages ? Class-G Amplifiers

either soft switched or communtated
class G output stages ?
If You want well working commutated class G output stage, just check out the schematic of Crest Audio PRO6001 or 7001 amplifiers. Both are well working, famous PA..

Thank you , I see Crest got it with older schottky's and other slower
devices. So did Carver.
Doug self says he eliminated many (non-audiophile) qualities with 21'st century
devices.
This is doable , find a dual rail SMPS , to have my 1KG 200W amp 😱😀.

At the last few days, I don't get ANY notice from the forum from any thread for some reason??
Can someone help me with that, please
I just checked the spam (junk) and nothing there either.
I did not change e-mail or turned off the forum notice
Thank you

Welcome back Pete. I followed you on facebook for a while but then lost track of you. I'm so glad you are OK.
